Cholesterol- can also affect teenagers

           Do you think people actually  will believe you if you say u have high cholesterol problem (a.k.a hypercholesterolemia) if you have a small size body? Certainly not. This problem happens in this new generation, who feed themselves with delicious fast food, which can harm their body unknowingly. To be honest, I myself have this problem. i went to see doctors for the past few years quite a lot to find out the cause of this problem. My liver seems to be healthy. Usually, high blood cholesterol is associated with individuals who are  above 40 years old. this is commonly due to liver problems. liver problems can be contributed by medication especially acetominophen. Liver plays a major role in detoxification process, which eliminates the body waste products. Disturbance in the liver function can lead to failure of the body to eliminate excess cholesterol in the blood, which allows it to accumulate in the blood vessel wall and form atherosclerotic plug. this plug can then becomes larger, that it blocks the blood flow in the vessels, leading to oxygen deficiency in the organ which it has to supply. This happens in heart attack.
         Kids and teenagers nowadays are not well educated on healthy diet. the blame is not to put on them but their parents. In this fast moving world, parents often neglect their children as they run after money. fatty food tastes delicious but you will never know if your child may experience sudden death at any time. high blood cholesterol is not an issue to be played with. the symptoms alone will disturb your daily life. as a conclusion, prevention is better than cure. Take actions before it is too late.

being a dental student

       'Dentistry'. From that single word comes millions of other words like 'status', 'money', 'Dr. title', 'respect', 'smart', 'savior' and other words one child could ever dream of to hold to. Few people out there know the real life of a dental student, and those people are dental students themselves. For those high school students out there, who might be deciding on taking Dentistry as their choice above all courses, it is a MUST for you to read this article of mine. I am not trying to brainwash you so that you turn away from this course but rather to ask yourself if you really have enough strength to deal with this course. during my first year in this course, all of my seniors ask me, "why do you choose Dentistry?" I have been wandering why it matters to them. Now, I know what's their real purpose of asking that question. I've been challenged emotionally and physically in my first and second year. No matter how many friends you have, still you are by yourself. Doctors will shout at you in front of your patient, your friends and other surrounding you. This will drop your level of confidence quite easy if you are strong mentally. That is what happened to me. You definitely cannot depend on your friend. In this course, everyone is competing against each other. if you are weak, you will left behind. seriously, this course is professional course but it is not that easy to be one.

*sigh*

im so tired..everyday after class, i would have this headache..which is bringing me to a fever-like feeling...whoa..im tired...life,please give me a break...i used lots of my storage of patient today...hope i can restore them this weekend..huahuahua...i really miss a sweet dream...well,at least a deep sleep until i cant realise where i am...huhu...i would love to walk by the beach, feel the sand on my feet, splash the sea water..or just hv a bus trip to genting and feel the cool breeze and see the beatiful lights at night...or just watching calming romantic movie...haha...peowww..ok..i should stop daydream...chow;)

nightMARE

i dunno why but i just cant forget this nightmare of mine....i dreamt that im in a taxi...passing by a tunnel in kuala lumpur....that tunnel has seats, stair seats with hundreds of people watching vehicles pass by and chearing for street racers...at each side of the road are ambulance, police, firefighters...all are packing dead bodies with full of slumber....some r without heads, faces crushed,no feet....bloood are all over the road and people didnt even bother...this is more like hell to me...please dont let this happen to my country, amen.
